A one-year-old female child presented with antenatally detected lump in the abdomen on USG which was gradually increasing in size. On USG, it was reported as a suspected case of gastric duplication cyst. So, to confirm the diagnosis CECT of abdomen was done. On CT scan it turned out to be a case of Teratoma of the lesser omentum of size 7cm X 6cm, with areas of calcification resembling teeth, with close proximity to common bile duct, portal vein, hepatic artery and the stomach wall.

Patient was subsequently taken up for surgery and after 4 long hours of precise and delicate dissection, the tumor was removed without damaging any of the surrounding structures. Postoperative period was uneventful and the child was discharged on 5th postoperative day.
