Ureterocele – A rare congenital anomaly of urinary tract.

A ten days old female child presented with prenatal USG showing gross right sided hydroureteronephrosis. Postnatal USG confirmed the findings and was also suggestive of right sided ureterocele. CT scan was done to confirm the diagnosis and surgical intervention was planned. Cystoscopic incision of the ureterocele was performed under GA and the patient was discharged after 48 hours. Repeat USG KUB was done after 3 weeks which showed significant resolution of the hydroureteronephrosis.
