One month old child presented with repeated episodes of bilious vomiting since birth and was severely dehydrated at presentation. Malrotation of gut was the primary clinical diagnosis and upper GI contrast study was also suggestive of the same. However, during surgery the child was found to have a web with central perforation at the duodeno-jejunal junction. The web was excised and the longitudinal enterotomy was closed transversely. The child recovered uneventfully.
